This FREE to enter event is packed with awesome attractions:
🎡 Maize Midway: Dive into carnival rides, games, and so much more!
🏰 Inflatable Zone: Get ready to inflate the fun!
🚜 Farm Games: Step into the farm games area and get ready for a harvest of fun!
🚗 Classic Car Show: Rev up your excitement with some cool classic rides.
🛍️ Maize Market: Shop unique finds and local goodies at our market.
🍔 Food Vendors: Savor a delicious variety of festival eats that’ll keep you coming back for more.
🎵 Live Music & Entertainment: Groove to the beats of the “REP YOUR GENERATION” style performances featuring Saved by the 90s, 80’s Gadget, and Le Freak (70s).
🎆 Fireworks Show: Cap off the night with a dazzling fireworks display starting at 9:30pm!

HOW DO I GET THERE?

  • Directions from Dallas:
    • Take US 75 N towards McKinney.
    • Exit 28A Towards Plano Pkwy.
    • Turn Right onto E Plano Pkwy.
    • Continue E Plano Pkwy to FM 544.
    • Turn left onto N Murphy Rd.
    • Arrive at the destination on the right (Murphy Central Park) 550 N Murphy Rd.
  • Directions from Allen:
    • Head East on E McDermott Drive.
    • Continue to E Main Street (2.5 miles).
    • Turn Right onto FM 2551 / Angel Parkway (3.1 miles).
    • Take Left at the light onto FM 2551/Parker.
    • Take Right onto FM 2551/Hogge Road/N Murphy Road (2.6 miles).
    • The destination will be on the Left, Murphy Central Park, 550 N Murphy Rd.

WHERE DO I PARK? WILL THERE BE A SHUTTLE?

* Handicap/ ADA Parking- Murphy Middle School (620 N. Murphy Rd.). Handicap tags must be displayed.
* Golf carts will be available for ADA/Handicap parking only to help shuttle people to the festival entrance.
* General Public Festival Parking- Tom Kimbrough Stadium (650 N. Murphy Rd.)
* No shuttles are available.
* VIP Parking- City Hall Complex (206 N. Murphy Rd.) $10.00 Card payments only. Limited parking spaces available.

WHAT CAN I BRING?

* Refillable water bottle.
* Chairs or blankets to use at the amphitheater/concert.
* Strollers/wagons for kids.
* Dogs- Must be on a leash at all times.
* Owners are responsible for bringing the proper supplies to give their pets water and clean up after them.

WHAT IS PROHIBITED?

* Outside Alcohol
* Glass bottles
* Tents
* No smoking- except in designated areas.
* Unauthorized vendors including unauthorized solicitors and materials.

IS THE EVENT FREE?

General parking and festival entry is FREE, however some attractions and vendors of the festival will require payment for services/merchandise.

WRISTBAND PURCHASE & RIDES THAT ARE INCLUDED:

Wristbands can be purchased for $10 to ride the carnival rides. Rides will operate from 12:00 to 8:00 PM. Ticket booths can be found near the south entrance of the festival and by the pumpkin patch.
Rides included in the wristband are:

*Carousel
*Heart Flip
*Spin-The-Apple
*Ballistic
*Pirates Revenge
*Mindwinder


All rides have a minimum height requirement of 36”

WILL CASH BE ACCEPTED?

We do not accept cash payments for ride wristbands or VIP parking. Cash may be accepted by vendors.
There will be ATMs on site to use for vendors (market, food) ONLY

WHEN AND WHERE ARE THE FIREWORKS?

Fireworks will begin approximately at 9:30 pm, weather permitting, and will last for about 15 minutes. Fireworks will be shot off by the Central Park Pond. Bridge access to the park from the Preserve will be blocked due to this area being a hot zone. Please follow all rules and restrictions in this area for safety.

WHERE IS THE LOST AND FOUND?

During the Festival lost and found items can be located at the Volunteer/ Information tent. After the festival, contact event staff at (972) 468-4444. Lost items are held for 30 days and then donated to a local charity. Murphy Maize Days is not responsible for any lost items.
