Welcome, Murphy Maize Days Volunteers! We’re thrilled to welcome back our amazing volunteer family this October! Volunteering at Murphy Maize Days is not only a fun and rewarding way to be part of the event—it’s also a meaningful way to give back to the Murphy community.

Whether you’re looking to earn service hours for school or organizations, build your resume, meet new people, or simply lend a helping hand, your time and energy make a huge impact. This festival wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of volunteers like you. Thank you for being an essential part of what makes Murphy Maize Days so special!

Who can volunteer?

Anyone—individuals, families, and organizations—is welcome to volunteer at Murphy Maize Days! Volunteers 12 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult (one adult may chaperone up to six children). Volunteers help bring the event to life by assisting with guest greetings, activity stations, line management, clean-up crews, and more.

All volunteers will receive:

· An official Murphy Maize Days volunteer t-shirt

· Complimentary water throughout the day

· A free carnival ride wristband as a thank-you for your time and support

· Volunteers working 8 hours or more will also receive complimentary dinner

The 2025 Murphy Maize Days festival takes place at Murphy Central Park (550 N Murphy Rd.) on Saturday, October 4, from 12 PM to 10 PM. Volunteer registration opens August 4, 2025, with easy online sign-up available.

2. Go to the “Volunteer Opportunities” tab in the catalog

3. Select your desired volunteer activity and shift

4. Add it to your cart and complete the checkout process
